This worksheet helps you sort every customer interaction so AI handles the busywork and a real person owns the moments that matter.

The four steps

Step 1: Sort every interaction into AI or human

List every customer touchpoint. Routine, transactional, and factual interactions go in the "Hand to AI" column. Emotional, complex, and high-stakes interactions stay in the "Keep with a human" column.

Step 2: Find the trap doors

For every AI flow, confirm a customer can reach a real person fast. A bot flow with no fast human exit is where you quietly lose frustrated customers.

Step 3: Name your premium moments

Identify the two or three moments where a real, named human is the upgrade customers will happily pay for, and make that tier visible.

Step 4: Brief the human before they pick up

Decide what context AI should hand the human before the conversation starts, so they open with warmth and speed instead of "can you verify your account?"
